Key Features

Wanos Features

Graphical User Interface

The GUI provides access to Optimization and Network traffic statistics, System Health information and configuration options

Bridge Appliance

The bridge appliance enables quick and simple deployment, is non-intrusive and preserves the natural traffic flow.

Router Mode

Flexible deployment option to route traffic via Wanos for optimization.

Packet Loss Recovery

PLR ensures data is delivered reliably across the WAN to avoid the negative impact packet loss has on application performance

Packet Order Correction

Correcting packet order on the fly helps avoid negative performance impacts or retransmissions due to out of order packets.

Network Transparency

Source and Destination addresses are preserved. The bridge appliance does not translate addresses or proxy traffic.

Bidirectional Optimization

With unprecedented scale in mind, Wanos is designed to match the asymmetrical nature of network traffic

Efficient Compression

Using the most efficient techniques available, enables Wanos to run on low cost ARM embedded systems

Persistent Data Store

A large disk based data store enables long term retention of deduplication data and full service restoration after infrastructure outages.

Universal Deduplication

Duplicate data is removed from network traffic, irrespective of the protocol, application or session that originated the initial data

Quality of Service

Classification, marking and shaping ensures priority and bandwidth-intensive traffic receive the most optimal quality of service

Virtual Appliance

Enables zero capital outlay to start saving bandwidth costs, ensures low operational costs and makes deployment quick and easy

System Dashboard

The Dashboard provides an overview of the system health with indicators for Load, CPU, Memory and Disk and traffic saved.

System Statistics

Historical graphs for Load, CPU, Memory, Disk IO and Disk Usage provide insight to system health and performance over time.

Traffic Policies

The easy to use interface enables engineers to include or exclude specific traffic from optimization
