Backup and Restore Configuration

Wanos offers the option to backup your Wanos Configuration file as well as Restore them in cases of upgrade, migration, disaster recovery, etc.

How to create a backup configuration for your Wanos Appliance

  • Log into your Wanos Web GUI (e.g. 192.168.1.200), navigate to Maintenance > Backup & Restore.
  • Click the Submit button and a tar file will be generated that you can download and save to a backup storage.

    How to restore a backup configuration for your Wanos Appliance.

  • Click the Choose File button, navigate your tar backup file and click the Open button to confirm selection. Click the Restore button to commit the changes.
