  • Datastore

Datastore Partition. The datastore stores the byte-cache data. When the datastore is full it reaches 100% efficiency and starts managing the byte-cache in a first in first out (FIFO) queue. Hence new data replaces old data and the datastore remains at 100%.

  • Date

Allows you to manually set the date in mm/dd/yy (month/day/year) format.

  • DNS Server

Optional DNS Server. A technology used to translate domain names into IP addresses. Users can specify their preferred DNS servers in the Wanos web GUI.

  • Hostname

A name given to the Wanos appliance to identify it on the network. There is a 30-character limit and special characters are not allowed. wanos is the default value.

  • SSH

Provides remote access via SSH. This feature is enabled by default.

  • Time

Allows you to manually set the time in hh/mm/yy (hours/months/years) format.
