Single Appliance
Wan Optimization is designed to work with two or more appliances. Using only a single appliance will disable most of the Wan Optimization features like compression, deduplication and packet loss recovery.
A single appliance will produce:
- Web Caching, if deployed and configured.
- Upstream Quality of Service (Shaping, Priority etc)
- Interface statistics and graphs
- Netflow Traffic Statistics e.g top protocols
- Netflow Exports to an external collector
