Cloud shaping with WANOS

Hi

I have client having apps over cloud example, Sharepoint, salesforce.com other apps
and most of the apps now a days going to cloud

so example of network

cloudapps ------WAN OS core----Office MPLS-----WAN EDGE---Branch office 1
                                                         |
                                                         |------------WANEDGE--BRANCH Office 2

what kind of performance i can expect in this kind of situation ?

Ram,

Performance in terms of reduction will mostly depend on two things:
  • How often the duplicate or similar data is accessed e.g. A document and different versions/iterations of the same or similar document.
  • The type of data and how compressible the data is. e.g. is native, compressed or encrypted.

If you get a consistent 2X on average that would be very good, even for Silver-Peak and Riverbed.

that is sounds reasonable on saving wan bandwidth in this MPLS Expensive world.
