Help with configuration
« on: November 26, 2015, 08:22:30 PM »
Hello All,

Currently I have the following scenario

Desktop (with OpenVPN) -> LAN Network -> wanos -> router -> Internet -> router -> firewall (Endian with OpenVPN Server) -> wanos (Router Mode) -> LAN Network - -> Server
IP from my desktop - 172.16.23.10/24
IP VPN in from my desktop - 172.16.4.2/24
Remote IP from LAN - 192.168.1.0/24
From IP Server - 192.168.1.2/24

All network avaliable and pingable, but dont work.

I'm looking on the page sessions but get no connection.

Questions:

1 - How do I set to work on wanos edge mode?
2 - I have to create a rule to start the optimization? If so where should I do?

Wanos team, I am working on a project which will have about 800 customers accessing my application that is web today, but to get Converser the CIO to buy the solution
have to show in the laboratory, I need a help to achieve.

Best Regards

ahenning

Hi Alessandro.

The challenge with the design is that the openvpn from the desktop encrypts the traffic. By the time the encrypted traffic reaches the first Wanos, it is already encrypted. What I propose is that we can look at enabling openvpn from Wanos:

Desktop-> LAN Network -> wanos (with OpenVPN)  -> router -> Internet -> router -> firewall (Endian with OpenVPN Server) -> wanos (Router Mode) -> LAN Network - -> Server
CCIE RS, CCIE SP, Mnet&sys
