Hi,
do you have any plan for Xenserver support ?

Xenserver is a serious option for low budget projects, and well... wanos is it too  :)

Hi Massimo,

Good point :) Only way to know is it to try. It should work. We can take a look at it together?

mdenadal:
Yes, sure !
If my help can be useful.... count on me :-)

All in all the "only" needs are a xen aware kernel and an installed agent (to support live motion, memory ballooning and some other fancy things) provided that the underlying layer is a linux of some kind...
Tomorrow I'll try to boot with the raw disk image.... to see what happens.

Thanks Massimo,

I am in the process of installing Xenserver. Will try inside virtualbox and vm workstation first before trying a server.

mdenadal:
...I can not wait until tomorrow...

I converted and imported the ova file into my Xenserver cluster  ;D

So far, in HVM virtualization mode, works fine.
Obviously nics and disk controllers are emulated:

tc@wanos:~$ ethtool -i lan0
driver: 8139cp
version: 1.3
firmware-version:
bus-info: 0000:00:05.0
tc@wanos:~$

... so I'm not expecting lightspeed performance, but It's good starting point !
