NIC driver doesn't load
« on: November 19, 2014, 11:39:00 PM »
When booting from the USB drive on a HP Proliant DL360 G5 Server, we get the following message:

Starting udev daemon for hotplug support... Done.
Waiting as requested... 4 bnx2: Can't load firmware file "bnx2/bnx2-mps-06-6.1.fw"

Thus no network adapters to work with... dead in the water.
Any suggestions as we have tried the /clean.sh command.

Hi,

Please uncomment the following line in /opt/bootsync.sh:
Quote
#rmmod bnx2 && modprobe bnx2
