: NFS optimization

I have got the edge and core setup, I am wondering how to setup NFS optimization with a server 192.168.131.19 and a nfs mount on 193.168.1.10 over a ipsec vpn tunnel. Also how would I know optimization is in effect for other traffic? nfs-mount --> wanos-edge-vm --> pfsense-vm-ipsec --> wan --> pfsense-appliance-ipsec --> wanos-core-vm --> server. Thanks

Hi,

Where possible and practical a simple speed test is a good indicator that optimization is in effect.
The free traffic and network graphs can also be used to see the difference in lan0 and wan0 bandwidth.
Datastore %, Disk usuage, Disk io and memory also indicate whether optimization is in effect.

These are high level views. More info under Checking reduction rate and reporting tools (http://wanos.co/forum/index.php?topic=126.0)
